Happy Earth day! One of the most amazing things human Earthlings have done, is create public libraries.
Los Angeles Public Library has been celebrating 150 years on this planet!
So, here’s to libraries on Earth!
Go out into nature today (maybe visit the Theodore Payne Foundation or Descanso Gardens if you’re an L.A. area person) — and then go to your local public library and get or renew your library card. If you’re in Los Angeles, maybe there are still limited edition P-22 LAPL cards still available! Attend the Festival of Books L.A.!
Wherever you are on Earth, you are near a local public library. Check some out on Library Planet.
Thank you libraries. And thank you to everyone on Earth who supports libraries and all the kinds of books and people found in them.
