Merry Christmas from Central Library

Central Library, DTLA

One of my favorite places is Central Library in Downtown Los Angeles DTLA. And what is usually a pretty place, is even more beautiful at Christmas time. We did not see the tree last year, so we made sure we saw it this year.

Just look at this tree in the rotunda! And of course, the Zodiac chandelier!

If you are yearning for a Hogwarts type library to visit during the holidays, come to the Children’s Literature wing.

Do you love libraries too? Contribute to a crowd-sourced library guide to libraries around the world, Library Planet. I’m trying to figure out which of the 50 branches we’ve visited so far I should write about. . .

Thank you Los Angeles Public Library.   We love you LAPL! And of course the Library Store. . . where we just bought a mermaid ornament for our tree.

Merry Christmas and happy holidays. Keep logging your reading minutes for the 2018 Winter Reading Challenge!
