Very Eric Carle

Discovery Cube Los Angeles

There is an exhibit going on right now through May 13, 2018, featuring works of Eric Carle at the Discovery Cube Los Angeles called Very Eric Carle. The Los Angeles Public Library was there this past weekend for some Storytimes and library card sign ups.

My almost 2 year old daughter Riley enjoyed touching everything! (I did too).

The exhibit was really fun and engaging.

You can draw, dress up (with butterfly wings!), create, build, play, touch and read. . . plus learn all about Eric Carle.

It seemed like all the families were enjoying themselves. Including mine!

We will be returning to the Los Angeles Discovery Cube (there’s also one in Orange County with a different calendar of events) to enjoy all the other exhibits — and to more LAPL branches (we still have 42 to go!) . . .

We read the booklet: Read To Your Bunny by Rosemary Wells, that we got from the LAPL booth, on our way home.  Thanks to the library, we are always entertained with a story wherever we are traveling to. . .

Happy National Reading Month! Enjoy storytime at a local library branch (there are many Eric Carle storytimes coming up in Upcoming Events!), at the Cube, or in your own home. You never know where reading will take you.
