My husband John, daughter Riley and I were in Seattle, Washington for a few days and got the pleasure of spending a little time in the Central Library.
They have an amazing Children’s Center! There is a – Blast Off To Space! – summer of learning program for kids and adults.
I really wish we could travel the country just to visit public libraries. Is there a Let’s Go or Lonely Planet type of travel guidebook just focused on libraries around the country? Or better yet, the world? Or does someone want me to do it?!
In any case, more summer vacations could be improved if they were planned around library visits.
And yes, don’t worry, we will be back on track with the Los Angeles Public Libraries now that we have returned from summer vacation!
